Beardyman gig at the Hmv institute

On Thursday a load of us went to the Beardyman gig. JFB was the supporting DJ who was sickkkkkk and really got the crowd going. What was special about Beardymans set was the live request aspect of it at the end. Facebook fans could view the gig live on facebook via webcam where they made the first request but the rest was left down to the audience. Cue lots of people fumbling for napkins, scrap receipts, pens and eyeliner to scribble down drunken favourite songs to pass to the bouncer to then hand to the man himself. Jenny got the first request in actually....Kate Bush. Shit request in my opinion but it kept a drunken Jenny happy :) Beardyman then stopped and told us he didn't want actual songs to cover, he wanted topics and styles. This followed with odd requests like Grange Hill sung in the style of the Wurzels and Jurassic Park Dubstep. I managed to get the last song in... Beardyman trying to decipher a napkin with the words 'Womack & Womack-teardrops' on to which he said 'Womack & Womack? Oh...teardrops! Yeh, that song's fuckin mint, I'll do that.' So that.made.me.happppy.

Here's a shaky vid I took of Beardyman and JFB at the end of the night.
